We design energy-efficient compressor packages to provide cooling solutions for any sector where refrigerated systems are required. In our state-of-the-art manufacturing unit, we manufacture Screw Compressors with the ability to work at higher levels in all types of applications. Our rotors are being supplied by M/s Holroyd of the U.K. We prepare screw compressor packages using blocks from MYCOM Japan, too.

Frick India offers highly energy-efficient Twin Screw Compressor Blocks ranging from 414 CMH to 3250 CMH, manufactured in our ISO 9001:2015 certified high-precision manufacturing facility in Faridabad. They are designed with a focus on safety and ease of maintenance, and their quality has been verified in a world-class performance testing facility as per ISO 917 standards. Our earliest screw compressor was released in 1989. Since then, our compressors have been lauded throughout the industry.

Assembly of high efficiency Screw blocks and packages have been performed by technical engineers at an advanced and upgraded manufacturing facility at our factory.

We also provide customised heat pump packages that are sustainable solutions for hot water heating using natural refrigerant ammonia (GWP & ODP Zero).

Capacity Range

Our rotary screw compressor packages consist of compressor with “Volumiser” variable volume ratio control; drive coupling and guard; microprocessor control panel; power supply/junction box; prelube oil pump for start-up only; suction and discharge line stop valve; suction and discharge line check valve; suction scale trap with strainer; and a three-stage horizontal oil separator. All components have been selected for maximum reliability and arranged to assure accessibility for service. The units are factory packaged, complete with wiring and piping.

All screw compressor castings of our compressors are designed and tested to meet the requirements of ASHRAE 15-78 safety codes for 350 psig maximum discharge pressure. Fine grey and alloy cast iron casting as per ASME SA 278 CL 35 and CL 40 and steel casting as per ASME SA 352 LCB/LCC to ensure structural integrity.

Our rotors are made from low-carbon steel forgings AISI 1040/080M40 BS 970 to the exacting tolerance of the latest “N” profile manufactured by renowned U.K. company M/s Holroyd by using the latest technology under the technical know-how of “City University, London.” 

Antifriction bearings with a rated bearing life in excess of 100,000 hours are used for reduced frictional horsepower and superior rotor positioning, resulting in reduced power consumption, particularly at the higher pressure ratios. 

The capacity control is achieved by use of a movable slide valve. The slide valve moves axially with the rotors to provide fully modulating capacity control from 100% to approximately 10% of full load capacity. The slide valve is positioned automatically by hydraulic movement of its control piston based on time-proportioned signals from the microprocessor. When in the unloaded position, gas is bypassed back to suction through a recirculation slit before compression begins and any work is expended.
